Realme is preparing to expand its Narzo lineup next week, and the brand will introduce two new 5G smartphones under the Narzo 90 banner. Both devices—the Narzo 90 5G and Narzo 90x 5G—have been teased officially, but fresh leaks have now laid out their expected pricing and specifications in full. With the launch date locked in, buyers already have a clear picture of what Realme plans to offer in the mid-range segment this season.
India Launch Date and Expected Pricing
Realme will unveil the Narzo 90 series in India on December 16 at 12 pm, and the phones will be available for purchase through Amazon as well as Realme’s official website shortly after the event.
Leakster information suggests the Narzo 90 5G may start at around ₹17,999 once introductory offers are applied.
The Narzo 90x 5G is expected to open slightly lower, around ₹14,999 with similar promotional pricing.
Both phones are tipped to arrive in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB variants, keeping their lineup simple and easy to choose from.
Narzo 90 5G: Expected Specifications
The Narzo 90 5G appears to be the more display-focused device of the two. It is said to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1400 nits HBM brightness, offering smooth animations and solid outdoor readability. Realme is preparing two colour finishes—Victory Gold and Carbon Black—both of which follow the series’ bold aesthetic.
For photos, Realme is likely using a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP supporting sensor at the back. The front camera is expected to be a 50MP unit, giving the phone unusually high selfie resolution for its segment.
Realme is powering the phone with the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max, a chipset designed for everyday performance while keeping power efficiency in check. Storage uses the UFS 2.2 standard.
A standout element here is the battery: Realme is reportedly equipping the device with a 7000mAh unit, supported by 60W fast charging, which should reduce downtime significantly. The phone runs Realme UI 6.0, and unlike some newer mid-range devices, it does not include eSIM functionality.
Narzo 90x 5G: Expected Specifications
The Narzo 90x 5G takes a slightly different approach, leaning on smooth visuals and long runtime as its key strengths. It uses a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen, but what sets it apart is its 144Hz refresh rate, giving it one of the fastest displays in its expected price band. With 1200 nits HBM brightness, the screen should remain usable under strong lighting.
Buyers will see two colour choices here as well—Flash Blue and Nitro Blue—each offering a vibrant, youthful look.
The rear camera setup mirrors the regular model with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary camera. On the front, Realme includes an 8MP shooter aimed at simple selfies and casual video calls.
The phone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a chip built for stable everyday operation rather than pushing performance limits. It runs Realme UI 6.0, keeping the interface clean and familiar.
Just like the Narzo 90 5G, this model also houses a 7000mAh battery and supports 60W fast charging, giving both phones very similar endurance numbers. eSIM support is not part of the package, keeping things traditional with physical SIM connectivity.

Final Thoughts
The upcoming Narzo 90 series looks set to offer strong battery life, modern displays, and feature-packed hardware at competitive pricing. The Narzo 90 5G leans toward a premium screen and a higher-resolution selfie camera, while the Narzo 90x 5G focuses on high refresh-rate visuals and balanced performance. With launch day approaching, Realme seems ready to target users who want long endurance and smooth everyday usage without stepping into higher price brackets.
