Realme has added a new wearable to its AIoT ecosystem in India with the introduction of the Realme Watch 5. The company is positioning this smartwatch as an affordable option for users who want a sharp display, reliable fitness tools, and convenient calling features without stretching their budget. It arrives alongside the P4x 5G smartphone and continues Realme’s push toward expanding locally manufactured AIoT products.
Price in India and Availability
Realme has set the Watch 5’s price at ₹4,499, but early buyers can pick it up for a reduced ₹3,999 as part of an introductory offer. Sales begin on December 10 at 12 PM, and customers will find it available through Realme’s online store, Flipkart, and selected offline partners.
The smartwatch will be offered in four finishes: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, Vibrant Orange, and Mint Blue, giving buyers a mix of classic and playful colour options.
Display and Design
The Watch 5’s standout element is its 1.97-inch AMOLED display, designed to offer sharp visuals with a resolution of 390 × 450 pixels. The screen supports a 60Hz refresh rate, ensuring smoother animations, and can reach 600 nits of brightness, making the UI easy to read even in daylight.
The body is built around a metallic unibody frame, paired with an aluminium-alloy functional crown for navigation. Realme has added honeycomb-style speaker holes and a new 3D-Wave strap, which aims to improve overall comfort for all-day wear.
Smart Features and Connectivity
The Realme Watch 5 includes several features aimed at everyday convenience. Users can take calls via Bluetooth calling, access NFC functions, and choose from more than 300 watch faces. For outdoor activities, the smartwatch benefits from independent GPS that taps into five GNSS systems, giving it better precision for routes and workout tracking.
Fitness enthusiasts get access to 108 sport modes, along with stretching guidance, on-device workouts, and seamless pairing with the Realme Link app.
Advanced Health Monitoring
Realme has incorporated a wide suite of health tools into the Watch 5. It offers continuous heart-rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring, sleep analysis, stress measurement, and menstrual cycle tracking. For users who practice mindfulness, the device includes three breathing exercises designed to help with relaxation.
Additional tools such as a compass, music controls, and a built-in personal coach further add value for users who want more than basic step counting.
